Les 7 000 m\u00b2, d\u00e9di\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;agriculture biologique, font partie du projet TURF (Thammasat Urban Roof Farm) qui a pour objectif de contribuer \u00e0 limiter les impacts du changement climatique tels que les inondations fr\u00e9quentes dans cette r\u00e9gion. R\u00e9sistante aux racines*, elle permet de transformer les toitures \u00ab classiques \u00bb en <strong>espaces verts, voire en parcs publics comme pour ce campus, qui g\u00e8rent le stockage des eaux de pluie <\/strong>et <strong>r\u00e9duisent l\u2019effet d\u2019\u00eelot de chaleur. <\/strong>Deux enjeux essentiels pour cette ville m\u00e9tropolitaine tr\u00e8s urbanis\u00e9e. Cultivables, ces espaces verts permettent \u00e9galement de produire localement pour les cantines de l\u2019universit\u00e9. ULTRAPLY TPO poss\u00e8de une <strong>long\u00e9vit\u00e9 \u00e9prouv\u00e9e de plus de 25 ans <\/strong>et <strong>r\u00e9siste aux temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eames<\/strong>, basses ou \u00e9lev\u00e9es, ce qui en fait une solution d\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 durable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">Cr\u00e9dit photo LANDPROCESS&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-sm-color-tertiary-color has-text-color\"><strong>DOMPTER L\u2019EAU&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La forme en H du b\u00e2timent conf\u00e8re un relief \u00ab montagneux \u00bb \u00e0 la toiture v\u00e9g\u00e9talis\u00e9e. Inspir\u00e9s des rizi\u00e8res en terrasses traditionnelles du nord de la Tha\u00eflande, les niveaux en cascade, qui ralentissent 20 fois plus le ruissellement de l\u2019eau de pluie, sont \u00e9tanch\u00e9s par la membrane ULTRAPLY TPO. <strong>Souple, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa quantit\u00e9 importante de caoutchouc dans sa formulation, elle \u00e9pouse parfaitement le support notamment au niveau des relev\u00e9s ou des d\u00e9tails \u00e0 respecter comme les trottoirs, les socles ou les pots accueillant des plantes<\/strong>. L\u2019eau est ensuite stock\u00e9e dans quatre bassins de r\u00e9tention et utilis\u00e9e \u00e0 100 % pour l\u2019irrigation des cultures de la ferme. Ce projet embl\u00e9matique devrait \u00eatre reproduit en Tha\u00eflande et au-del\u00e0 de ses fronti\u00e8res.
